Repaired leaking pex line Howell Township
Replace main water shut off and supply valves. Brick Township 08724
Spend some time with the customer going over options to replace a cracked porcelain sink. Undermount type. Customer was not happy with the prices that were given, and I was asked to leave kindly.
Performed annual home inspection. Brick Township, NJ 08723
Arrived on site and client stated when he would use the washer it would back up out of the tub. Upon further inspection in the crawlspace it looks like the washer ties into tub drain. Snaked tub and washer drain from crawlspace and it appears to be hair causing the clog. Ran water to test for leaks and ran tub and washing machine to test the drainage. Washer and tub are draining as they should.
Arrived on site customer stated that they need to have the water heater and boiler inspected. Upon inspection found that they only have a water heater on site and it is located in the attic. Upon inspection of the water heater found it is up to code on the plumbing end water lines are bonded there is a cold shut off valve, a vacuum breaker installed, and tested water temp and it is approximately 112 degrees. There is no disconnect box located near the water heater so customer may need an electrician to come out and install one. Everything appears to be in working order and there appears to be no leaks at this time, collected payment.
New shower valve oil rubbed bronze finish, new white vanity and oil rubbed bronze finish with membership Arrive back to home to install shower valve and vanity. MyGuy supplied all materials necessary and tested for leaks after work was finished. There are no leaks at this time.
Upon arrival customer stated concern for toilet being 18 years old and only completing a flush every few flushes. After testing a few times I was able to confirm that that toilet would flush and then only partially flush for flushes following that. Recommend replacing toilet due to age and not flushing properly. As we were doing our plumbing check we came across the shut off valves in both bathrooms were completely seized due to age. There were a total of 7 affected valves that we recommend for replacement. We replace toilet included with. That was a new shut off and supply line percent toilet all work was tested for leaks. There are no leaks at this time.
